RETURN & REFUND POLICY

1. Introduction
At Lift-It Offroad, we are committed to supplying quality suspension and off-road products and providing excellent customer service. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, this policy explains your options for returns, exchanges, and refunds.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights afforded to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or any other applicable South African legislation.
2. Return Eligibility
Returns must be requested within 7 calendar days of receiving your order.
To qualify for a return, the item must:

Be unused and uninstalled.

Be in its original condition.

Be returned in its original packaging with all accessories and documentation.

Be accompanied by proof of purchase.
Lift-It Offroad reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these requirements.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following products cannot be returned unless they are defective or supplied incorrectly:

Custom-manufactured products

Special-order items
-
Products modified at the customer's request

Installed or used products
-
Clearance or discontinued items marked as non-returnable
4. Incorrect or Damaged Products
If you receive an incorrect item or a product damaged during delivery, please notify Lift-It Offroad within 48 hours of receiving your order.
Please provide:

Your order number

Clear photographs of the item

Photographs of the packaging (if damaged)
Where the claim is approved, Lift-It Offroad will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund at no additional cost to the customer.
5. Refunds
Once the returned item has been received and inspected, you will be notified whether your refund has been approved.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
6. Handling and Restocking Fee
For approved returns where the customer no longer requires the product or has ordered the incorrect item, a 15% handling and restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
This fee covers inspection, administration, repackaging, and restocking costs.
The 15% handling fee will not apply where:

Lift-It Offroad supplied the incorrect product;

The product is defective or damaged upon delivery; or
-
South African consumer protection legislation requires a full refund.
7. Return Shipping Costs
Unless the return is due to an error by Lift-It Offroad or a defective product, the customer is responsible for all return courier costs.
We recommend using a tracked and insured courier service, as Lift-It Offroad cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged during return transit.
8. Warranty Claims
Manufacturer warranties apply where applicable.
Warranty claims do not cover:

Incorrect installation

Abuse or misuse
-
Normal wear and tear
-
Racing or competition use
-
Unauthorized modifications
-
Damage caused by accidents or improper maintenance
Warranty claims remain subject to inspection and approval by the manufacturer or supplier.
9. Vehicle Compatibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are compatible with their vehicle before placing an order.
If you are unsure about compatibility, please contact Lift-It Offroad before purchasing.
Returns resulting from incorrect vehicle selection by the customer may be subject to the 15% handling fee and return shipping costs.
10. Processing Times
Once a returned item has been received, inspection and processing may take up to 5 business days.
Refunds or exchanges will only be processed after the returned goods have passed inspection.
11. Consumer Rights
Nothing contained in this policy limits any rights granted to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or any other applicable South African legislation.
Where applicable law provides greater protection than this policy, the law shall prevail.
